Kickin’ It with Kiz: Will Broncos Country have to wait for Arch Manning to end losing streak to Chiefs?

The Broncos won’t break their losing streak to the Kansas City Chiefs until 2026, during Arch Manning’s second NFL season as the starting quarterback in Denver.Terrence, LittletonKiz: Whoa! Might want to hold your horses, my dear Broncomaniac. Let’s see if Peyton’s nephew can rise above third-string on the Texas Longhorns’ depth chart before we crown Arch Manning the savior in Denver. As for this losing streak to the Chiefs? I just hope Broncos Country doesn’t have to wait until 12-year-old Marshall Manning, the son of PFM, declares for the NFL draft in 2033 for Denver to find a QB who can finally beat Patrick Mahomes at age 38.The Broncos will end their 16-game streak to K.C. on Sunday. Denver’s D might be getting it together, I think quarterback Russell Wilson has a big day and our backs combine to run for 150-plus yards. It’s happening.Brandon, trick or treaterKiz: Dude! What are you dressing up for this Halloween, the Orange Reaper...

It all carried over to a strong first-half performance Saturday, highlighted by the latest impressive performance from one of the most impactful transfer additions in the country.Keon Coleman needed only one arm to snag one of his two touchdown catches while Trey Benson took a short pass and broke loose for an 80-yard score that helped FSU overpower Wake Forest 41-16, keeping the unbeaten Seminoles in firm control of the Atlantic Coast Conference race.Jordan Travis threw for 359 yards and three scores to go with a rushing TD for FSU (8-0, 6-0 ACC), which ran off 24 unanswered points in the second quarter to build a 34-7 halftime lead. LAWRENCE, Kan. But their defense forced the Sooners (7-1, 4-1) to punt, and after two long completions and a fourth-down throw that picked up 37 yards, Neal scampered in from 9 out to give Kansas the lead back — but Oklahoma’s offense another shot with the ball. The Sooners still had a chance to salvage their perfect ...

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis’ big gathering of Catholic bishops and laypeople said Saturday it was “urgent” to guarantee fuller participation of women in church governance positions and called for research on allowing women to be deacons to be released within a year. After a month of closed-door debate, Francis’ meeting on the future of the Catholic Church ended late Saturday with the approval of a 42-page text on a host of issues that will now be considered at a second session next year. None of the proposals is binding, as they are merely offered for Francis to consider. Each paragraph passed with the necessary two-thirds majority, but the ones involving women and priestly celibacy obtained the most “no” votes. Nevertheless, organizers hailed the voting as a success since none of the paragraphs failed to pass.Francis called the synod over two years ago as part of his overall reform efforts to make the church a more welcoming place, where lay people have a greater say in the life...
